To meet the global challenges, the diversification of mechanical engineering education with cutting edge research is a must. To keep with the challenges, the department of Mechanical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) is conducting a project title "Development of Research Facilities on Biomedical Fluid Flow Phenomena (CP2099)" which has been awarded as a sub-project of Academic Innovation Fund (AIF-2nd round) under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) implemented by University Grants Commission (UGC) through Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of Bangladesh (GoB). Under this sub-project, the state-of-the-art experimental and computational facilities in biomedical fluid flow simulation will be developed in BioFluids Laboratory, ME, BUET. It is expected that this sub-project will improve the quality and competence in research for the betterment of human life to the nation as well in the globe.
